Terms & Conditions

When placing an order for disc restoration, you are accepting our Terms and Conditions as set out by Disc Repair Services Ireland (discREPAIR.ie)

Please read:

1. We will endeavour to repair and restore all discs supplied. Restoration work can only be carried out on the play side of discs.
2. We will not undertake any repair work to any warped, cracked, chipped, dented or perforated discs and can not restore any lost data.
3. We cannot be held responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damage caused as a result of repairs carried out or attempted to be carried out or from any loss or corruption of data.
4. In the event that any disc is deemed to be beyond repair we will raise a credit/voucher to be taken off the next order.
5. discREPAIR.ie shall be under no obligation to do any repair work until payment in full is received, processed and cleared. This includes the required postal and handling charges for any additional disc cases sent and for any requests for discs returned by registered post.
6. It is the customer's responsibility to insure any discs sent to DiscRepair.ie
7. discREPAIR.ie cannot be held responsible from the loss or damage to discs during transit.
8. Any discs not paid for in full after 30 days, including the required postal amount for any additional disc cases or packaging may be disposed off.
9. discREPAIR.ie reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any tme.

Please Note:

We advise our customers to send all discs via registered post or via tracked courier service that can provide proof of delivery. Discs lost or damaged in the post sent by Standard Post with no proof of postage or traceability are not the responsibility of Disc Repair Services Ireland (discREPAIR.ie).
 

Freepost service only applies to customers within the Republic of Ireland.

 

Customers in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom and all other countries outside the Republic of Ireland, must apply the correct postage stamp to their package for delivery to us. Please remove the Freepost address line and ensure that to include "Ireland" in the address if posting from outside the Republic of Ireland and package your discs(only), securely in an appropriate envelope or protective packaging. See "More Info" or "FAQ" page for details on how to send discs.



Guarantee

If you are not completely satisfied with the repair service provided by Disc Repair Services Ireland (discREPAIR.ie), please contact us and we shall arrange for the return of the disc for subsequent resurfacing - Conditions Below Apply.
• Disc must be sent back to us within 3 days of receipt.
• DiscRepair.ie has the right to revoke this guarantee if abuse is suspected.

Disclaimer

Our guarantee covers the removal of scratches and scuffs to the read (play) side of the disc only, this does not include severe deep gouges that may have penetrated the data foil, nor it does it guarantee your disc will play as intended because of any of the following:
• Top side/label side Damage
• Cracked or warped discs
• Chips or dents in the discs

Risks of Loss

Risk of loss of the Product shall remain with Customer at all times. DiscRepair.ie shall not accept any liability for the loss of product through postal or courier services. It is recommended that you send discs via registered post or via tracked courier service with insurance. If you would like us to send your discs back to you via registered post, please opt for this online or insert on the order form and add €5.25 to the costing, this will insure your discs up to a maximum value of €320

Privacy Policy

Disc Repair Services Ireland (DiscREPAIR.ie) is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the terms of the Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003, as amended from time to time). All payment information is routed through a secure payment gateway facility and is not stored by us. Any information which is provided by you will be treated with the highest standards of security and confidentiality and. From time to time, we may contact you with special offers or discounts to your email address. As a valued customer, we shall never pass any of your information to third parties without first gaining your explicit consent.

 

SEND DISC(S) ONLY - PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY DISC CASES

Any disc cases sent to us will incur an additional postal charge. You can view these postal rates on the Order Form page. This is a shipping and handling charge. If you are sending more than one disc, please insert each disc in a disc sleeve or separate them with either sheets of paper, tissue paper or bubble wrap or an appropriate seperating material.

Be sure to include either your Printable Order Form or Online Payment Receipt with your disc.

If you do not have a printer, please include your reference number from the online Order Process within the envelope with your discs.
